sermon was about application.
applying the Word into our daily lives and applying the sermons that we've heard into our daily actions. we often hear sermon which speaks to us so much and get enthusiastic about it. but, once we step out of the service hall, we totally forget about it. our passion and enthusiasm fades as we leave the room.
when we look into the mirror, we observe ourselves and start to find the blemishes that we have. we either do something about these blemishes so that it would not be obvious, or, we'll just walk away from the mirror and ignore it. just like the what the sermon was preached, when we hear the Word, we should actually apply the things we've heard about into our daily lives. looking in the mirror for hours, without doing anything, won't make you prettier; listening to sermons week by week and not applying them into our lives, does not make us a different person.
we all want changes in our faith in God and our spiritual lives, but, we don't bother to take actions to make the changes. how then, will situations begin to turn?
apply today's sermon, and we'll apply all sermons! cool aren't it!
