it was a traumatic experience.
the few of us gathered in ourspace@72, logged in to npal, refreshing the page as each minute passed by - so that we won't get logged out. once it was 2.30pm, things became chaotic. everyone rushed in to the same link trying to vie for best timetable. everyone was so nervous that we can't get into the same class and even the timetable of our dreams (exaggerated).
things were smooth for me, at the beginning. however, the connection got slower, the webpage lagged. this means chances of me getting into the class that i want was reduced. one by one, everyone managed to get into the same class. it was good news.
however, i still can't get in. i tried to remain as calm as possible. but, as you hear everyone got in, you can't help but panic. thank God, everyone was so helpful, volunteering to lend me their laptop to log in. with 3 laptops, chances are much higher than 1.
at one moment, the class that i wanted to get in was no longer one of the choices. it's just feels worse. first, the webpage lagged like mad. next, once you logged in, error messages appear so many times. lastly, there's no more slot for the class you want to get in. it's just so frustrating!
i just kept praying and praying in my heart that i can get into the class. because beside that class, i only have another class which ends early on friday, so that i can attend parade. and finally, someone opted out of the class which enabled me to join into the class that i want! :D
i really have to thank God for so many things through this timetable selection!
-GREAT timetable
-prayer answered
-awesome friends that helped me (in the end, i didn't enroll into the class myself, jean did.)
-lifegroup! (i smsed everyone yesterday to keep me in prayer.)
traumatic but, good experience.
